Want to hear the sound of one hand clapping? We’ve got a great (FULL BAND!!!) show planned for Saturday 07.31.2010 with TO LIGHT A FIRE @ Mountain Chapel United Methodist as part of the quarterly Mountain Chapel Music Series. This music series provides a great new venue for Birmingham – they hosted THE GREAT BOOK OF JOHN and reverendjohnson and THE MODERN SUN at their first event last quarter. Show starts at 7 PM.

It’s been a big week so far – and we’re not even half way through! I had a great time playing music for an Independence Day party on the RCC rooftop Sunday night 07.04.2010 before Vulcan erupted into a Thunder on the Mountain fireworks show in downtown B’ham. Notice to the public…from now on I plan to end all performances with fireworks!!!
On Monday night 07.05.2010 I had the honor of sharing the stage with several aspiring songwriters at the MOONLIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN open mic contest (and I won the top prize!!!) – this is a great new venue in town operated by Keith Harrelson – you really need to check this place out – it’s a great listening room and Keith is an ardent supporter of musicians/songwriters in our community. www.moonlightonthemtn.com/
