JMB NEWs:
First off – I’ve had a lot of great feedback in response to our latest EP release IBelieveInLove over the past few weeks!!!
If you haven’t had a chance to listen to the new songs yet, just head right over to the MUSIC page and give it a spin…you can purchase a copy directly from me (through this website) and it’s also available on iTunes and Amazon, Etc.
We had an incredible time at the release show and owe a huge debt of gratitude to Bryan Johnson, Caleb Chancey and Corey Scogin for their help in making that show a reality. Thanks to everyone who came out to support us at The Dark Room and to everyone that has purchased a copy of the new album – I truly appreciate your support. I know you can probably get a copy for free or stream it for free, but your support through dollars allows folks like me to write and record music at a professional level – and I am grateful for each and every supportive dollar.
Over the past month, we’ve had the great fortune to open for THE DAVID MAYFIELD PARADE at WORKPLAY, had an incredible EP release show at THE DARK ROOM, and performed at the Pepper Place Market.
Also, check out this interview with Chris K. Davidson where I had the opportunity to talk a little about the stories behind the songs on the new EP. Chris also shot a few videos from the show that you can watch here -
Coming up this weekend is BAAM Fest – we’re playing a full band show Friday night at Rogue Tavern – we’d love to see you there!!!

It’s been way too long…my apologies…
I’ve had many incredible opportunities over the past few months to play music for and with many great folks – here’s to the road ahead!
Here are a few highlights:
MUSIC FOR ALABAMA
I was asked to contribute a song to a compilation project created to benefit victims of the April 2011 tornadoes that devastated the state of Alabama. Many incredible artists with Alabama roots jumped on board to help, including: MATTHEW PERRYMAN JONES, DUQUETTE JOHNSTON, JON BLACK, MATTHEW MAYFIELD, DAVID BERKELEY, and PETER BRADLEY ADAMS.
You can download the album and help some folks out at the same time here:

The great folks over at The35212.com interviewed me earlier this year – you can read it here:

Happy Thanksgiving!
I hope you are all doing well – just wanted to post a quick update to let you know what I’ve been up to lately.
RECENTLY:
I performed at the MOSS ROCK FESTIVAL in Hoover, AL (11.06.10) with the help of Joey Seales (keyboards) and Michael Battito (drums) – we really had a great time and appreciate everyone who came out to support us.
I also had the great honor to support JUSTIN CROSS this past weekend (11.20.10) as he celebrated the release of his first full length album entitled Listening To Ghosts. Me and WILDER ADKINS opened the night up – then I sat in on electric guitar as a part of Justin’s band. It was an amazing night of music and a great time with some good friends.
UPCOMING:
I will be performing at THE RED CAT on Friday, December 3rd – show starts @ 8 PM sharp!
Also – recording for my next EP has begun!!! I’m very excited about the direction these new songs are heading and can’t wait to share them with you -

Also – September was hectic…but I did play a solo set at EDDIE’S ATTIC – an excellent listening room in Atlanta – I hope to make it back there soon.
Coming up:
I’ll be performing at THE RED CAT later this month with the Greyhaven Community.
I also have a full band show planned for the first weekend in November at the
MOSS ROCK FESTIVAL – I hope to see you there!

Wow – just wrapped up a great weekend at the BIRMINGHAM ARTS & MUSIC FESTIVAL. I had the opportunity to wear several hats over the course of the weekend – playing my electric guitar at BOTTLETREE on Friday night as part of the GREY HAVEN music community, then playing bass guitar with the NICK T TRIO on Saturday afternoon, and finally capping off Saturday night with my own full band set at THE METRO BISTRO. Good times with some great friends indeed!
